Note: Only pictures are up at this time. I am still working on adding text descriptions to go with them.

In May of 2000, I went on a Go Ahead Vacations trip to Portugal, with an extension to the Portuguese island of Madeira. The total length of the trip was two weeks, with a total of seven hotels, four flights, two boat trips, and over 530 pictures, about 350 of which are in this site. The pages in this section will describe the trip in words and pictures, and will hopefully give you an idea of the overall experience. And of course it would be nice if it could attract a lot of international visitors, like my hastily thrown together London section, and more recently, the section about my May 1999 Go Ahead Vacations trip to Sicily.

Larger versions of these pictures are available for printing or for use as background images. Contact Matthew M. Lug for more information. On the bottom of each page you will find a navigation bar with links to the previous and next pages in chronological order, the location of the hotel that was stayed at that night, and the index of this site.
